INTERCOMPARISON OF DESIS, SENTINEL-2 (MSI) AND SENTINEL-3 (OLCI) DATA FOR WATER COLOUR APPLICATIONS

Abstract. In this work, we investigate the potential of DESIS hyperspectral data for water colour applications as preparation exploitation from future EnMAP mission. We show results on intercomparison Level 2 sensor, Sentinel-2 MultiSpectral Instrument (S2-MSI) and Sentinel-3 Ocean Land Colour (S3-OLCI) processed with Polymer atmospheric correction. Examples mapping quality parameters in inland coastal waters is provided different ecosystems (e.g. lagoon, clear lakes, estuaries). First applied to at study regions similar spatial distribution chlorophyll-a concentration (Chl-a) S2-MSI S3-OLCI.
